Dr. Chiang, a native of Montville, N.J., received his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.  He returned to New Jersey to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).  This  was followed by an internship at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.  Dr. Chiang then returned for his ophthalmology residency TRAINING at the UMDNJ - Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science where he has received training in the latest developments and newest surgical techniques of the field.   Dr. Chiang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
